Horizons SHU admits Bridgeport students who will benefit most from long-term academic, social-emotional, and recreational opportunities. Most students enter in PreK or Kindergarten and continue through 12th grade, building lasting relationships and consistent support along the way.

In addition to attending one of Horizons SHU partner schools (listed above), applicants must:
- Qualify for free or reduced-fee lunch under the federal guidelines by household income
- Be a resident of Bridgeport
